The Bacchetta Carbon Basso is a modern take of the classic Ti Aero Basso. The Carbon Basso is designed for those looking for a performance bike with a less aggressive BB to seat ratio. Keep in mind that the Carbon Basso frame comes out of the same mold as the CA3.0… so there is no need to question it’s performance capabilities, that’s built into the bikes DNA. Also, unlike the Ti-Basso, which only came in a small size, the Carbon Basso is available in a large frame size too! Friendlier than a high racer in a variety of riding scenarios from the fast club ride to the semi urban out and back fitness roll.
Angletech Spec builds available of a wide range of preferences. Shown in our favorite build with 584/406 wheel combo featuring high volume tires for fast rolling and a smooth ride, hydraulic disc brakes, B3 seat, Tweener handlebars w/ pivoting stem, and the aerodynamic Angletech AeroPod WS seat pack.
Seat Choice
Carbon, EuroMesh, and B3 for all position preferences.
A word about the B3 seat option shown above:
A full size, lightweight alternative to the revered Bacchetta Recurve recumbent seat. The B3 suits the “level” bottom bracket position of the Carbon Basso best and weighs no more than the EuroMesh. The B3 fits all Bacchetta bikes, including C/A 3, Giro A20, Giro A26, and Bella.
