As the name hints, the Quattro is already the fourth evolution of a popular Bacchetta model, with its last version being the Carbon Aero 3.0, or shortly CA 3.0. However, the design has changed dramatically. The CA 3.0 shared the same main frame tube shape as other Bacchetta models, much of the rest of the frame followed similar design cues as well. The Quattro, in contrast, is a completely independent design, taking full advantage of carbon’s potential. The frame features sculpted lines, integrated cable routing, stiffness where it matters, and zones allowing flex where needed. The new Bacchetta Quattro builds on the Carbon Aero’s legendary performance and features more versatility with the Adroit2 dropout system, allowing a rider to choose 142mm and 148mm thru axle rear wheels.
This performance road bike is now disk-brake-specific featuring internal cable routing and an oversized head tube to accommodate modern forks with a tapered steerer tube (for more strength and better handling).
Riders can now spec wider 50mm tires for more comfort across varied riding conditions, and configure the bike with high-end parts from SRAM, FSA, Enve, and TRP.
You can also choose whether you want the bike with Bacchetta specific Euromesh seat or the lightweight stiffer carbon fibre seat. The total weight can be as low as 20 pounds. Despite being a custom build, most configurations will be available with a lead time of just weeks.
