With the Scorpion FS 20 Hands-On-Cycle we present a completely new development in the field of hand-bikes. The world’s first hand-drive with fully encapsulated chain guide as well as integrated cable pulls is a unity of design and innovative technical solutions.
Steering is done by a combination of turning and pivoting which is extremely intuitive. Our design makes for a much smaller turning radius than many other hand-cycles. The Hands-On-Cycle fits to the rider by adjusting the front boom, leg holders, and the adjustable mast. Allowing the perfect fit for the rider.
Hands-On-Cycle comes with a Tripleshift 24 standard drivetrain. The handbike mast is ready to integrate front lighting. The very clean cockpit can accommodate a smartphone holder and other accessories such as bells and speedometers. It is also prepared for the display of an electric motor:
If you so choose, we can install a powerful electric motor. In order to turn your hand powered bike into a pedelec (support up to 25 km/h), we use the rear hub motor Z20 from Neodrives in combination with the 10-speed derailleur Deore XT from Shimano. All controls and the color display are right in your field of vision in the cockpit.
The battery range is up to 145 kilometers or 90 miles (capacity 612 Wh). The 40 Nm of the extremely quiet hub motor transfers power directly to the rear wheel.
A complete breakdown of options and prices can be found in the Scorpion and Gekko catalogs as well as in the online configurator. The configurator also allows you to check whether your desired setup is compatible with the specific requirements for the Hands-On-Cycle.
HOC has a pleasantly restrained appearance that integrates perfectly into the design of the trike and can be adjusted to the size of the rider in three ways. Riders can slide the boom into the main frame. Independently of this, the integrated footrest is adjustable in length, and the mast can be adjusted in height.
When folded up, it offers more space when getting in and out of the vehicle.
