AZUB MAX is a chariot you will fall in love with. When you sit on it, you cannot but beam with delight. Or even squeal with joy. This bike runs like clockwork, it devours all straight roads like nothing before and going downhill is a never ending joy. With its two large 26” wheels it is a recumbent like none other. The rear suspension is supplied as standard, and together with the optional front suspension, the AZUB MAX is a comfortable and fast bike which turns a road full of potholes into a smooth asphalt thoroughfare.
Our experience with the AZUB MAX was the solid feel of the bike from its stout design, excellent handing on pavement, and its capabilities off road from the 41″ wheelbase giving heel strike free maneauverability not possible in other SWB recumbent designs. 26″ and 24″ wheel formats. Dual suspension options with real mountain bike forks like the Rock Shox XC32 TK-Solo.

Rohloff with Electronic Shifting!
The popular internally geared hub option of Rohloff is now available with the E-14 electronic push button shifting system when ordered with the Bosch CX motor, providing light and easy shifting compared to the grip actuated arrangement.
Pinion Drive System
Shifting while pedaling, coasting or stopped. Simple one shifter operation for the whole range of gears. Everything is inside an oil bath case to keep all the moving parts out of the elements. Enormous 636% gear range! It is also very clean solution with no derailleurs, no cassette, just one chainring. Pair with Neodrives E System for E-Assist
Bosch Comes to AZUB
The Performance CX is Bosch’s top model e-system and takes riding dynamics and agility to a whole new level. It is powerful, light, and quiet. Ten years of experience and countless trail rides all over the world have gone into its further development.
Movable Idler
We’ve eliminated the “pogo effect” by placing a chain pulley on the Top Line models. What is more, it is positioned on an axis made of high quality stainless steel, which allows the chain to swing smoothly from the left to the right according to the set gear. This technical solution improves the chain’s lifetime and lowers the resistance that occurs when the axis is in a fixed position.
2 Types of Steering
You can choose from two different styles of steering. It is either the ASS – above seat steering (also called over seat steering) or the USS – under seat.
